
Rafaël Rozendaal är en duktig net art-konstnär från Amsterdam som bl.a. gjort ett stort antal konstverk som också är webbsidor. Bland mina favoriter är The Persistance of Sadness från i år och Big Long Now från 2006. Många av hans verk, även t.ex. Ringing Telephone, lämnar efter sig en känsla av tomhet, desperation och längtan medan andra är en utstuderat enkel och ofta humoristisk idé. Rafaël gör installationer och utställningar av sina verk men säljer dem också till samlare och museer.

1. The Work:
The Owner is provided with one archival disc with source files, exhibition files, and online files; control and ownership of the domain name;
and this signed Certificate of Authenticity. The Work consists of these items, or migrated technical support and should be equally safeguarded.
In case of loss of the domain name due to technical changes or any other reason, the Work consists of the archival disk or the migrated technical support, and this Certificate of Authenticity.2. Permitted Uses:
The Owner may show the work in art exhibitions and any form of art manifestations. The work may not be shown in advertising
or commercial spaces.
If any parts of the Work are lost they must be replaced at the expense of the Owner.3. Presentation:
In case of public exhibitions the Work should be presented using the exhibition files from the archival disc.
The Work is based on vector information and should always be presented at the highest resolution possible.
The Work will adapt itself to any aspect ratio and should always be displayed using square pixels.
The Work should be open to the public on the Internet for as long as technically possible. The website consists of the online files on
the archival disc presented in the domain name of the work.4. Restoration and Repair:
Restoration and preservation of the Work are at the expense of the Owner. If the Work needs to be restored for any reason, the Owner must contact the Artist
to ensure that the restored Work remains as close to the original as possible. If the Artist is unavailable for consultation, the Owner is responsible for
preserving the integrity of work in case of restoration.5. Copyright:
The Artist or their estate retains copyright of the Work and of all images of the Work.6. Transfer of ownership:
The Owner may resell the work. The Work should always remain complete as described per paragraph 1.———————————————–
